Object – the process of physical training of students of higher teachers’ training educational institutions; subject – the theoretical explanation and experimental verification of the efficiency of the pedagogical conditions of actions incentives of students of higher teachers’ training educational institutions towards sports activity the process of their physical education; methods - theoretical: exploration, analyses, systematization and generalization of psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem in order reveal all present approaches towards the interpretation of the essence of the students’ sports activity; empirical: observations, discussions, questionnaire, testing, interviewing of the students and pedagogues in order to define the levels of actions incentives of students towards sports activity, the attitude of the pedagogues and the administrations of higher teachers’ training institutions under investigation towards the specified problem; stated and formative stages of the experiment, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results of the investigation; the methods of mathematical statistics were used for the purpose of processing of intermediate and final results of experimental work; novelty: for the first the notions “sports activity”, “incentives”, “actions” and their interrelation have been specified and concretized; the comprehensive whole of pedagogical conditions and procedures which provide the effective actions incentives of students of higher teachers’ training institutions towards sports activity has been scientifically justificated; the criteria and levels of generation of actions towards sports activity by students have been defined; the methods and ways of actions incentives of students towards sports activity have been specified; the diagnostics of defining the generation of the students’ actions towards sports activity has been worked out.
