Zharko S. The Typology of word-formative meanings of substantival nouns and their derivatives.

The objects are the substantival nouns and their derivatives of a modern Ukrainian literary language. The aims are to create the typology of the substantival nouns and to define the means of them representation. The methods are descriptive, perephrasive, comparative, morphemic and word-formative analyses. In the dissertation the existing interpretations of the word formative meanings are analyzed, the methods of its inference and defines the means of expression are examined. It is revealed the features of the mutative nouns, word-formative potential and valency of definite lexical-semantic groups, it is defined the role of word-formative affixes in the process of derivation, the availability of idiomatic structure of derivatives, causes of their arising and criteria of their classification. The dissertation the mutative, modified, transpositioned types of word formative meanings are described, their specific features, means of representation, infers perephrases to promote understanding of their profound meaning are defined.
