Khavunka M. The clinical pathogenetic characteristics of multiple sclerosis in the region of high risk disease

Thesis is devoted to the investigation of the new pathogenetic mechanisms of the development of the MS and the effective diagnostic and prognostic markers of this illness and optimization of the approaches to the clinical tactics with patients. Peculiarities of the flow of the MS depending on such an exogenic factor as ecological pollution of the environment have been studied. It has been determined that a decrease of cytotoxic influence of the abzymes in blood plasma of the patients with MS towards the autoreactive Т-lymphocytes correlates with an increase of the gravity of the pathologic process. Great importance of the enzymetic characteristics of Ig G in the blood plasma of the patients with MS in the development of the immunobiological patalogic changes accompanying this disease has been defined. Clinical effectiveness of the treatment of patients with by Betaferon as preventive remedy was confirmedley local elimination of the autoreactive T-lymphocytes by means of the induction of their apoptosis.
