Essay

The thesis investigates genre and stylistic poetic parameters of Mykhaylo Grushevskyi's creative work as an integral part of Ukrainian science and culture of the end of 19th - the beginning of 20th century in the national and European context. The author traces innovatory character of his creative activity which is based on interconnection of the Ukrainian literature traditions and world literature achievements. Peculiarities and patterns of problematic's formation as well as formation of prose poetics of the writer, structural features, genre stylistic specificity and imagery of his prose are studied.
