Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to develop the methodic approaches to coal mines’ managers’ competitiveness estimation in the process of enterprise’s current and strategic management. The methodological basis got scientific substantiation and determination of the definition “competitiveness” has been developed in terms of its’ implementation usefulness to the managers’ activity effectiveness estimation. Competitiveness is determined as the interaction of the motivation and potential levels in the process of top-managers fulfilling their management functions. The principle classification of factors, forming the motivation and potential of top-managers, encompassing the specific of coal mine’s activity and allowing to research the current reserves of increasing the efficiency of coal mines’ top-managers using is developed. The effectiveness of implementing the vector algebra, operations with non-determined data and developed optimizing models for quantity estimation of quality data has been scientific substantiated. To implementing the scientific thesis and suggestions in the real conditions of coal mines the mechanism of estimating only competitiveness of top-managers to determine the reserves of increasing the efficiency of its using, as well as mechanism of inclosing the developed index in the integral index of mine’s competitiveness and complex index of its investment attractiveness to full encompassing the influence of man’s factor on current and strategic activity of enterprise is proposed. The results of dissertation are implemented on mines of «Pavlogradcoal» and «Krasnoarmejskcoal».
