Essay

The thesis presents the results of investigation of clinico-neurological manifestation, cerebral structural changes, cerebral and peripheral circulatory dynamics, metabolic disorders in patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy and type II diabetes mellitus, to work out prevention and treatment measures. 138 patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy, including 88 patients with type II diabetes mellitus in age 45-65 have been investigated with the clinical, computerized tomographic, dopplerographic and biochemical methods. The clinical peculiarities, structural changes, cerebral and peripheral hemodynamics, metabolic disorders due to dyscirculatory encephalopathy in patients with type II diabetes mellitus have been found out and analyzed. The results of the research allow us to work out pathogenetic mechanisms of development of dyscirculatory encephalopathy in patients with type II diabetes mellitus and prevention and treatment measures.
