Kudlak V.Ya. Theory and practice of market reformation in the economic heritage of M.H. Bunge. - Manuscript. The thesis is devoted to the research of the scholastic-theoretical views and practical-reformative activity of M.H. Bunge, an outstanding scholar-economist, the professor and rector of the Kiev university, the state reformer in their organic relation in the process of development and the realization of market reforms complex aimed at the reformation of the economic system of the Russian Empire and Ukraine in particular, in the second half of the ХІХ century. The scientific heritage of M.H. Bunge, the development and evolution of his scientific outlook has been analysed. Special attention is paid to M.H. Bunge's development of social-economic market reforms program in the scientific works during 50-70s of ХІХ century. The work analyses the main directions of the suggested reforms and their scientific and theoretical provement and the ways of their implementation. The research deals with the practical and reformative activity of M.H. Bunge on the position of the finance minister of the Russian Empire, which became a practical embodiment of his program of reforms. In the variety of market reforms the main attention is paid to the analysis of fiscal reforms. There has been done the general economic evaluation of the efficiency of the market reforms of M.H. Bunge and their influence on the development of the economic system of Ukraine and on the whole Russian Empire on the crossroads of XIX - XX century. Keywords: the economic views of M.H.
