Pogrebnyak O. Market Structures in Transitional Economy of Ukraine.

This dissertation is dedicated to the problems of becoming and functioning of market structures in the transitional economy of Ukraine. Modern theoretical approaches for determination of the concentration level and monopolistic power presence are systematized. Considerable attention is spared to the evolution of the different economic schools and directions of economic science representatives points of view on the role of market structures and features of their functioning in economy. The features of production concentration in the command economy are determined and explored. The influence of stabilizing policy on the market structures in Ukrainian economy is analysed. The basic directions of improvement of state regulation tools application for the market structures and the expedience of world experience application of the state regulation in Ukrainian economy are selected and grounded.
