The results of investigations and treatment of the patients with pancreatic gland trauma due to multiple trauma were summarized in the thesis. We demonstrate that the level of anti-pancreatic antibodies is one of the diagnostic markers of the posttraumatic pancreatitis. We found the most informative diagnostic criteria of the severity of posttraumatic pancreatitis. We show the efficiency of xylitol-contenting solution that is based on the opportunity of differentiation between stress hyperglycemia from pancreatogenic hyperglycemia and on the decreasing of the dose of exogenous insulin. We show the efficiency of combined vegetative block, that is based on the decreasing of frequency of local anesthetic epidural injection, optimal post-operative analgesia, and early activation of the intestinal activity. The worked out intensive therapy algorithm allowed to decrease the number of complications and lethality.
