Lyubchich O. Details of the millet productivity and grain quality formation depending on the conditions of nitrogenous nutrition on grey forest soils

Subject of research is the processes of plant development, the millet productivity and grain quality formation at different doses and times of nitrogenous fertilizer application. Purpose of researches - scientifically to ground and work out the nitrogenous fertilizers use system under millet and to establish the regularities of the effect of doses and times of nitrogen applicatin on the productivity and grain quality formation. The research methods are field, measuring-weight, analytical, computation-comparative, statistical. The thesis theoretically substantiates the agrotechnical, physiological and economic expedience of the nitrogenous fertilizer application under millet of the Kyivske 87 and Myronivske 51 varieties, the stages of organogenesis in which the plants most response to nitrogen are established. The fertilizer system in millet growing technology is improved by means transference of nitrogenous fertilizers in the additional fertilizing what permits supplementary to get 5.8-7.2 hkg/ha grainwith protein content 11,5-11,8%. The research results are inculcated during 2004-2005 in the Vinnytsia region over the total area 268 ha. The field of application is the agricultural production.
