Kulik N. Semantics of German Adverbial Phraseological Units in Lexicographic Interpretation: Denotative and Connotative Aspects.

This dissertation focuses on the study of lexicographic interpretation of denotative and connotative components in German adverbial phraseological units' (APhU) semantics. The paper suggests a comprehensive approach to the analysis of German adverbial phraseologisms' lexicographic articles. The system relations of German APhU in lexicographic article have been revealed. The main mode of codifying the denotative component of the phraseological units under research in unilingual lexicography has been exposed. Semantic and structural classification of dictionary definitions of German APhU has been suggested. The ways of codifying German APhU connotats have been indicated. It was proved, that the main content of German APhU connotative component is codified through the system of markings. Functions of the illustration part in lexicographic article with German APhU have been specified. The commentary relevance for adverbial phraseologisms with the ethymologically marked component has been highlighted.
