Skydan V. Features of technology of growing malting varieties of spring barley in the conditions of the eastern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

Subject: peculiarities in grain yield and grain quality formation of spring barley malting cultivars in the conditions of the eastern part of Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Aim: advancing basic elements of cultivation technology of spring barley malting cultivars for obtaining high grain yield of malting grain. Methods: field, laboratory, statistical, computational. Novelty: there is advanced a fertilizer application system basic tillage of soil, sowing dates and sowing rates and updated the optimum forecrops for malting barley. Results: there are improved technological elements of cultivation of spring barley that provide malting grain yield at a level from 4,9 up to 5,9 t/ha. The profitability was 104,3%, with a net profit - 2390,87 uah/ha with a coefficient of power efficiency 6,07. Application stage: industrial trials were conducted in the firm "Priobrajenskoe" in Pervomayski region and the firm "Elite" in Kharkiv oblast of the Kharkiv area on the common area of 131 ha. Application area: agricultural farms of the all types of ownership.
