The thesis is devoted to the foundation, researches and insertion into the practice of neuroanesthesiology of different antistress approaches for care of 135 patients suffering from severe brain injury in the course of emergency craniotomias with general anesthesia. Different levels of stressor autonomic and metabolic responses in the course of surgical intervention were classified and the signs and parameters for the adequacy of anesthesia defense were discriminated. Heart rate variability measures as indicators of anesthesiology care and autonomic balance and markers lipid peroxidation are studied. The antistress defense methods based on components of intravenous anesthesia in patients with different brain lesions are investigated. and proposed for the care of patients with intracranial brain trauma of different location and severity with the aim of increasing level of antistress activity.
