The dissertation investigates the psychological aspects of prose by V. Drozd with taking into account the recent trends in a psychological analysis of the literature research. In the chimerical writings the central axis is the reflection of a marginal human psychology, by main cases of an intelligent, which is trying to find his place in the whirl of life, and he often takes an antisocial attitude. The key words: poetics, psychologisms, psychoanalytical method, genre-style peculiarities, chimerical prose, allegories, mythologisms, gender problem.
