Nakonechna L. Semantic-Functional Transposition of Time Forms of a Verb in Polypredicative Structures of Modern Ukrainian Language.

In the dissertation, based on the materials of modern Ukrainian language, the research of transposition potential of time forms of a verb in polypredicative structures has been realized. The specificity of this type of grammatical transposition, the conditions of its rise and the rules of forming of transposed time meaning has been found out. The peculiarities of the influence of form-semantic categories of a verb, especially aspect and way, and also semantic categories of divisibility, stipulation, modality and time localization on the transposition processes within a grammatical category of time have been determined. Means of establishment of transposition function of time form of a verb are defined; their classification is proposed; the role of interaction of predicates, unpredicative components of construction during transposing of verbal forms of time is revealed. A number of transposition types of time forms of a verb in polypredicative structures, the models of constructions with transposed timeform are determined; the concept of transposition activity / passivity of grammatical form and transposition openness / closeness of semantic zone are grounded; the level of activity of time form and openness of semantic time zone is defined.
