The object - the prosaic creation by Juriy Andrukhovich, such novels as "Rekreations","Моskoviada", "Perversia" and "Twelve hoops"; subject - discourses of laughter culture which are being recomprehented and find artistic embodiment in the prose by Juriy Andrukhovich; purpose - to define the conceptual discourses of the laughter culture and models of their functioning in prosaic works of J. Andrukhovich; methods - descriptive, structural, cultural-historical, comparative-typological, method of system analysis; novelty - system research of prosaic creation of Juriy Andrukhovich from the point of postmodern recomprehension of laughter culture, determination of the conceptual discourses of the laughter culture in Ukrainian prose of 90s of the XXth century, the evolution of the discourse of the laughter culture is traced for the first time in the novels by Juriy Andrukhovich; results - making of the integral picture of prosaic creation of Juriy Andrukhovich in the systems of coordinates of laughter cultureand postmodernism, materials of the dissertation can be used in lectures courses, special courses, seminars related to the Ukrainian literary process of end of the XX th century, during the preparation of the proper sections of textbooks on the history of Ukrainian literature, development of subject of the course papers and diploma research works in higher educational establishments, specialty - Ukrainian literature.
