Karpenko O. Novel-diology by Volodymyr Drozd "Leaves of the Land": problems of mythopoetics

In this dissertation the mythopoetics of Volodymyr Drozd's novel-diology "Leaves of the Land" is analysed, formal means, which help the author to introduce in his text the idea about the world's mythological model, the schemes of primitive thinking, primary images, symbols and motives of human culture, in particular. The peculiarities of aesthetic realization of archetypes and mythologemes, used by the author in order to create the subject and figurative row of the diology are determined, their place and role in solving the main philosophic problems of human existence is defined. Aesthetic and functional peculiarities of mythological and folklore borrowings the use which helps the author to express his view of the conception "man-world" are determined. The specific character of mythopoetic time space which was created in the novel on the basis of binary opposemes "up - down", "city - village", "escape - return", "day - night" is analysed.
