This dissertation reveals individually-psychological peculiarities of the student's adaptation to the new class community. It was determined that it is important to find optimal option of students' selection to classes according to their ability to specialize to a new school community. The main stages of social-psychological adaptation of student were defined as well as the structure of this kind of adaptation and underlined factors of its development. It was theoretically proved and experimentally confirmed that a new student, who came from other school or was transferred in to other class of a given school had certain adaptive abilities, which influenced his psychical behavioral activity, the level of educational process and this abilities were determined by individually-typological peculiarities of the person's structure. It is shown that there is an ability of affective forming of new student's adaptation features using the way of a suggested system of psychocorrectional work, which would contribute to optimal selection of students into new classes according to their social-psychological adaptability.
