Koval S. Peculiarities of growing own-rooted planting material of Kiwi in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest Steppe Zone of Ukraine

The objects of research are peculiarities of rooting ability of kiwi cuttings and growth of plants of kiwi of 6 species. The purpose of research is the development of technological elements in growing plants of kiwi using green stem cuttings in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest Steppe Zone of Ukraine. The methods of research are field, laboratory, statistic ones. Theoretical and practical results are the development of technological elements in growing plants of kiwi of 6 species using green stem cuttings. Scientific novelty is the determination of optimal terms of cutting and rooting of kiwi cuttings according to stage of development of maternal plants. It has been determined that the rooting ability is connected with the force ability of its species. The effect of concentration of growth-regulating substances on root formation of green cuttings is defined and optimal their concentration is determined. It has been determined that rooting of cuttings depends on merism of the cutting. Technological practices in rooting of kiwi cuttings of 6 species in the conditions of dispersive moistening and growing of own-rooted cuttings in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest Steppe Zone of Ukraine. Extent of the introduction is in the teaching process of Uman state agrarian university, nurseries of the research greenhouse of Uman state agrarian university and the National deontological park "Sofiyvka". The sphere of application is industrial and decorative gardening, agrarian educational institutions.
