Essay

The research is focused on learning the problem of formation of Lviv profitable dwellings of 1772 – 1918. Architectural, design and stylistic examination of profitable buildings is made. Stages and directions of these building’ development are defined. Contrastive analysis of the processes of Lviv profitable building’ architecture with Kyiv, Odesa, Chernivtsi and Kharkiv buildings is made. Significance profitable buildings of 1772 – 1918 for Lviv future architectural development are determined.
