Nataliy M. Parliamentary-presidential republic: essence, features, varieties

Theoretical foundations of parliamentary-presidential republican form of the state governance are researched in the dissertation paper. Author's understanding of the notion of the form of the state governance is represented. The criteria for categorizing the republics are fixed. Models of separation of state powers in different republics are defined. Essence of the mixed republic as well as its general legal signs is analyzed. History of the development, essence and particularities of presidential-parliamentary republic is elaborated. Conditions of the origin and legal characteristics of parliamentary-presidential republic are defined. Varieties and particularities of its implementation in constitutional models of various states are examined in the paper. Main trends of constitutional model’s improvement in Ukraine on its way of the shaping of parliamentary-presidential republic are analyzed.
