responsibility in the context of its arising on the basis of the dialogic ethics. This work is conditioned by an attempt to reveal the ethical potential of the philosophy of the dialogue in the contemporary social and cultural space. As the responsibility become the main notion in the ethics discourse, the attention of the author is concentrated on the investigation of the ontological level of the responsibility in order to clear up its deep dialogic nature. This task needs to do the systematic analysis of the dialogic ethics which personalistic direction let to consider the responsibility as the internal to the personality. To prove such view of the responsibility the dissertation contains reconsideration the problem of the Other and shows the dialogical context of human being as the basis of the personality conditioned responsibility. The particularity of the author's point of view is determined by the ambitions to found the before-cognition conditions of the responsibility for the Other that letus to actualize the dialogic ethics and its practical importance.
