The dissertation deals with the study and working out of theoretical and methodological principles and the substantiation of practical aspects of agricultural land use formation. Theoretical and methodological principles and methodic to ecological and economic foundation of agricultural land use formation have been considered. The trends to transformation of agricultural land use in the process of land reform at the regional level have been analyzed. Economic and ecological valution of its results has been carried out. The preconditions formation through unification (consolidation) of small land users - have been determined. The concept "uniform land massif" has been proposed. Ecological and economic directions of farm lands transformation, the level of substantiation of uniform land massifs, the mechanism of its formation according to use expediency. Ecological and economic model sustainable land use (on the example of Kyiv region). The principles of sustainable development out land classification foruse according to target function form the basis of this model. Methods of substantiated.
