The dissertation is dedicated to the investigation of the drying process of clay by the method of heatcarrier filtration through the drying material layer. On the basis of results of researches of hydrodynamics and kinetics of drying of clay in a steady-state layer investigational efficiency of dehydration is compared to the convective method. Mass-exchange coefficients are determined and criterial equations for their calculations have been worked out. The calculation methods of the constructive parameters of the drying apparatus.
