Essay

There has been developed technology for zinc oxide recovery from industrial wastes to produce zinc salt of oxyethylidenediphosphonic acid and make metal corrosion inhibitors from spent zinc-acetate catalysts, absorbents of sulphur-organic compounds (SPS-F, GIAP-10), zinc-acetate solution which remains after zinc-acetate catalyst impregnation, and hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile - hydrolysis product of wastes from polyacrylonitrile fiber production. There have been shown the results of laboratory and industry researches based on which there have been identified optimum ratios of ingibitor in water and technology for protection of water recycle systems agains corrosion and scaling.
