The object is air traffic controllers training process in an aviation institution of higher education; the objective is to ground and develop training methods for air traffic controllers operating in emergency situations on the international air-routes and check their efficiency experimentally; theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistics methods have been used; novelty - it has been first scientifically grounded, developed and experimentally checked the training methods for air traffic controllers operating in emergency situations on the international air-routes, that are based on the aircraft accident analysis, the skills and personal abilities which are necessary to promote proper air traffic control operating in emergency situations have been defined; recommendations for teachers and students have been developed; the training methods have been introduced in National Aviation University; the field is pedagogics.
