Yurchyshyn T. Generalized Content Sentences: Structural-Semantic and Communicative-Pragmatic Aspects

Subject: Generalized Content Sentences. Aim: to investigate structural-semantic and communicative-pragmatic peculiarities. Methods and ways: descriptive method and the method of inside interpretation, propositional and transformational analysis, pragmatic method, act of speech analysis. Results, novelty: The concept of generalized content sentence is outlined, linguistic and extralingual factors of content generalization in a sentence construction are defined. It is defined the communicative orientation of the generalized content in a sentence structure. Conformities with the law of semantic structure of sentences of the generalized content as invariant for the constructions of different formal structure are found out. The analysis of utterances of the generalized content as speech acts is carried out. Sphere of usage: university courses "The Syntax of Modern Ukrainian Language", specialized courses and seminars.
