Essay

Epithet in confessional style. To research the epithets functionally semantic features in confessional style. The methods are descriptive, comparative. It has been proved that epithets promote verbalization of world religious to a great extent. The major lexical and semantic macro-fields of epithet word combinations are described, semantics of dominated in confessional style of epithet units are determined. Material can de used in stylistics, lexicology, lexicography.
