The development of market economy in Ukraine in the second half of the nineteenth century - at the beginning of the twentieth century, in particular the process of business relations formation, its mechanism and features as well as studies of Ukrainian economists in which these processes had been represented. Complex scientific and theoretical analysis of business theory conceptual principles formation in Ukrainian economical thought of the nineteenth century - at the beginning of the twentieth century. Methods: grounds of civilized paradigm, system analysis, system analysis, comparator method, historical and genetic method. Coverage of special features of the development of market economy and main trends of the Ukrainian economic thought (the second half of the nineteenth century - at the beginning of the twentieth century). The improved understanding of organizational enterprise forms, social and economical activities of undertakers, issues of state regulation, in particular, legislative provisions of business activities, customs issues, price policy, and antimonopoly regulation have been introduced.
