Object - 185 patients with ischemic heart disease in combination with essential hypertension, 146 men had myocardial infarction (MI). 2 year using of lisinopril 10-20 mg/d and bisoprolol 5-10 mg/d substantially improved intracardiac hemodynamics, endothelial function, increase of myocardial contractile function, had positive hypolipidemic effect. The end-systolic volume was an independent predictor of the development of myocardial events, severe heart failure, 2 years mortality at the late postinfarction period
