Pushyk P. Ethіcal and humanistic concept of Ivan Franko.

The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of ethical and humanistic concept of Ivan Franko. Social and cultural conditions and theoretical sources of forming philosophic views of the thinker, their humanistic direction, key problems which have conditioned the content of moral and ethical search in life and creative work of the master are clarified. The subject of ethical investigation of the thinker is lined and theoretic reconstruction of basic categories and conceptions such as "true-humane morality", "full man", interconnection of good and evil, moral content of happiness and sense of life is realized. The conceptions of justice, truth, kindness and good make up the subject of "the last and the highest science - ethics", because it teaches a person to live like a human. Thoroughly educated personality, complete his social and national liberty, humanism and solidarity with people - these ideals and principles are determinant traits of the moral progress of mankind in Franko's opinion. The principleof interconnection of moral and philosophic problems of writer's works with own life position is watched.
