Essay

This thesis dedicated the study of ukrainian isolates of PVX, PVY, PVM and PVS, to finding out of their phylogenetic nature and biotechnological aspects of viral infection control on latent stage in potato (Solanum tuberosum L.). It was created diagnostic test-systems for identification and quantitative determination of latent viral infections potato tubers using PCR and Real-time PCR techniques. It was carried out quantitative determination of viral pathogens in symptomless potato tubers. It was detected the partial nucleotides sequences of capsid proteins genes of PVX, PVY, PVM and PVS of the ukrainian isolates which are deposited in the gene bank under the numbers of EF043534, - PVX, DQ890520 - PVY, DQ883806 - PVM. Obtained results have shown dynamics of distribution and accumulation of viral infections in potato seed material and during growing stage.
