Merkotan K. Transformation of multipartyship institute of European countries in modern political process conditions.

In the thesis transformation of multipartyship institute of European counties is researched; peculiarities and mechanism of development of Ukrainian multipartyship are revealed. Multipartyship is considered as process of formation and development of some quantity of parties. Their character of interaction determinates party system quality. The main differences of European multipartyship institutes are analyzed. Among them: developed party systems with strong political traditions in West Europe and dynamically transforming party systems of East Europe. It is stressed on eurointegrational influence for multipartyship development in this region. In spite of big number of parties, Ukrainian multipartyship is more quantitative than qualitative. Strengthening of last one is possible owing to development of democratic values and increasing of political activity of citizens; strengthening of public influence on political parties and governmental bodies for effective social partnership establishment;stabilization of Ukrainian party system and formation its new qualitative features etc.
