Essay

The thesis includes research of students' assessment foundations and development on the basis of Ukrainian and foreign experience generalization. It is shown the content of modern scientific approaches to this process, defined the main functions and pedagogical requirements to high school students' assessment in the context of module teaching. It is also analyzed didactical conditions for module teaching technology implication by the mean of experimental verification. Based on retrospective analysis of innovative approaches to student assessment it is scientifically grounded didactical foundations of students' assessment (principles, structure, models) and characterized the main elements of evaluative activity in school. The educational possibilities of assessment scales and didactical peculiarities of 12-point students' assessment system during the module teaching are defined, while three models of students' assessment system were developed and experimentally verified to prove its effectiveness for specialized high school.
