The dissertation deals with research of the contract of inheritance as a kind of civil contract. It discloses issues of: 1) legal nature, notion and features of the contract of inheritance; 2) arties to the contract of inheritance, their rights and obligations; 3) essence of the contract of inheritance, its object and moment of acquirer’s accrual of property rights under the contract of inheritance; 4) legal grounds for termination of the contract of inheritance and consequences for non-performance acquirer’s obligations after alienator’s death.
