Object - independent activity of students in the training process; goal - to substantiate theoretically and experimentally to test the scientific conception and appropriate to it technology of pedagogical diagnosis for the optimization of the independent learning activity of students of medical college; methods - theoretical analysis, pedagogical experiment, testing, questionnaire design, expertise and assessment of educational products, measurement preprocess; novelty - for the first time it was substantiated the innovative technology of diagnostic approach to the independent creative student's activity, it was identified the diagnostic parameters of the professional - creative student's independence, it was represented the exhaustive diagnostic instrumentality for the different kinds of independent work; results - are using materials for the dissertation during the professional preparation in the medical colleges of Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv regions; the introduction into practice the scientifically methodical manual "Methodology and organization of scientific researchs of students - bachelors of medical colleges"; speciality - a theory of teaching
