Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problems of rational management of pregnancy and delivery in women with premature ruptured membranes in incomplete pregnancy. The results obtained indicate that the expectant management of pregnancy complicated with PRM does have advantages over the active management. It ensures a prolongation in gestation duration of pregnancy, maturation of uterine cervix, which reduces traumatism in delivery for both mother and fetus, lowers frequency of the fetal RDS development in proportion to the waterless interval duration. A prolonged duration of the waterless interval has no negative effect on the rate of pyoseptic complications in both mother and fetus.
