Essay

The thesis is devoted to the questions of determinant risk factors for the progression of chronic heart failure (CHF) with preserved systolic function in the elderly patients and the improvement of its treatment with simvastatin. In 50 CHF old patients with preserved systolic function we assessed atherosclerosis risk factors, endothelial function damage, the lipid profile and its relationship with the body mass index.
