Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the pharmacognostical study of grass, leaves, roots and seeds of Urtica dioica and Urtica urens. The systematic phytochemical study of of studied raw material flora has been carried out. Qualitative composition and quantitative content of different groups of biological active substances of Nettle plant raw material have been studied. Lipofilic extracts were obtained from studied raw material. With the help of TLC, GLC and spectra of absorption and fluorescence the presence of chlorophylls, carotenoids, coumarines, flavonoides's aglicones, polyphenolic substances and fatty acids was proved. The 21 individual substances have been isolated from studied raw material. This is the first time elagic acid, neochlorogenic acid, apigenine, kaempferol, isoramnetine were isolated from grass of Urtica dioica and Urtica urens; isoramnetine, isoramnetine-3-o-?-D-glucopiranoside, narcisine -from seeds of Urtica dioica and Urtica urens. The composition of species "Gepaphit-1" was developed and its antioxidant, hepatoprotective and choleretic activity was determined; the composition of suppositories "Adenourticon" was developed and its prostatoprotective activity was studied; the drafts of Analytical Normative documentation were developed on plant raw material "Nettle's grass", "Nettle's roots", species "Gepaphit-1".
