Maksymovych O. Rationalization of use of natural resources potential in agro-food complex of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Dissertation is devoted to study, generalization and solution of problems, concerned with the rationalization of use of natural resources in agro-food complex in the context of market institutional reforms. The author determined and developed theoretical and methodological fundamentals for research of ecological problems in the agro-food complex of Ivano-Frankivsk region. These fundamentals are based on the principles of comprehensive approach, priority of usage, expanded renewal, ecologization of production. The study of functioning of agro-food complex depending on use of natural resources potential of the territory takes particular place in the dissertation, since the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of such use define the level improvement of regional agro-food complex. The tendencies of developing regional agro-food complex have been revealed in the dissertation. These tendencies were created within the conjuncture of formation of new organizational and economic forms in agriculture, deterioration of ecological situation in the region. The author developed and gave scientific basis to conceptual principles for the formation of strategy of efficient use and protection of natural resources, as significant component for the transition of the branch into the principles of sustainable agro-food production and provision of ecological protection in the region.
