Pashkovka G. Origin and semantic development of Ukrainian verbal units and phraseologisms to denominate speech processes

Subject: a general verbs and phraseologisms of contemporary literary language described a speech process. Aim: to find out an origination and to trace a semantic development of general verbs and phraseologisms of contemporary literary language described a speech process. Techniques: descriptive, comparative historical, method of component analysis of vocabulary, definition analysis method. Scientific newness: etymological and semantic analysis of verbal vocabulary and phraseologisms of Ukrainian language, which described a speech process, enables to make an idea of systematic vocabulary organization, different types of interconnection and interdependency of lexical units in frame of explored thematic group. Scope of application: collected and described material might be used for lexicography and for writing of special lexicological works.
