Rigkova G. Ukrainian "Woman" prose of 1990s-2000s: genre and narration peculiarities, lingopoetics.

The thesis studies the essence of the „women" prose in all its aspects: from the point of view of genre specific, discourse models, linguistic stylistic, linguistic-cultural peculiarities, narrative strategies. The work is outstanding by the great genre diversity of „women" prose of 1990s-2000s, including such genres as intellectual novel, industrial novel, chronicle, postmodern treatise, novels and short stories of parable character, anecdote short stories, works with the elements of genre transgressions . Poetical peculiarities of "woman" prose are using urban jargon of a modern city lady blended with bookish and stylistically lourred vocabulary. "Woman" prose tends to adopt some linguistic-cultural concepts. The narrative strategy of present-day lady writers is distinguished by extreme variety. The materials of the thesis can be used within the course of modern Ukrainian literature and special seminars on the problems of gender studies, genre forms, poetical means.
