Essay

The paper deals with the family and marriage functions correlation research, societal factors influence on marriage transformation as a social phenomenon. Functions system and marriage dysfunction is studied. It is stated that marriage eases the process of relations formation and family feelings in family. The following theories were developed: normative deviation (conception of marriage deviation nature spread); social legitimization of new marriage forms.
