Melnyk M. The literary portrait of Roman Kupchynsky genre, and literary and style aspects.

The thesis is the first complete study of all Roman Kupchynsky's (1864-1976) brinks of writer's legacy polished on principles of romanticism, symbolism and impressionism. Genesis of creative discourse and individual style displayed by original existent and aesthetic imperative is found out on the base on scientific-methodological experience of Ukrainian and foreign literary studies. The dissertation brings analytical research of genre forms (drama, story, poem, lyrical verse, song, newspaper satire, epigram) where the creative author's universe was displayed. A topological comparison of R. Kupchynsky's poetic vision in the space of Ukrainian literary tradition is made in this investigation. The ways of his national self-cognition, and historical and philosophical approach to perception of reality are exposed as well.
