The dissertation is devoted to revealing effective didactic conditions of the development of creative cognitive independence of the higher military schools“ cadets during studying common military subjects observed from psychological and pedagogical points of view. The author defines the role and the place of creative cognitive independence in the system of training future military expert and also the experience of its organization in the higher military school. The model of the development of creative cognitive independence of the higher military schools“ cadets in the process of studying common military subjects (“Small arms and fire training”, “Drill training”, “Field Manuals and their practical execution”, “Protection from WMD”) is developed and tested.
