Attitudes toward Labor of Industrial Workers in the New Socioeconomic Conditions. The thesis is dedicated to the investigation of value and motivational factors determining attitudes toward labor of workers of industrial enterprises. The author examines and summarizes theoretical approaches and research methods for measuring attitudes toward labor in soviet and post-soviet sociology, pointing their succession and alternation out. Based on materials of a sociological survey conducted among shipbuilding workers, the structure of work motives of an industrial worker in the present socioeconomic conditions is identified and analyzed. Value-orientations of workers in the sphere of work relations have been investigated. The new factors of work motivation acquiring institutional character in the present economic conditions are determined.
