Object of research: process of state regulation of employment. The purpose: the theoretical ground of structure of the Ukrainian modern labour market, the development of mechanism of state regulation of employment. Methods: system analysis, induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, SWOT-analysis, clustering analysis etc. Results: theoretical ground and creation of practical recommendations for the improvement of development of the Ukrainian labour market state regulation mechanism. Novelty: new approach of the national labour market monitoring, which is built with the help of clustering analysis, is grounded. Kharkiv region state administration is inserted in activity. Areas of use: public administration, local government, training and retraining of public servants and officials of the local government.
