Yarmolenko G. Verbal Nouns in the Ukrainian language. Cognitive Onomasiological Aspect

Onomasiological structures of verbal nouns in the Ukrainian language and conceptual models assumed by the nominator as a basis of the work. The aim is to elucidate the motivation specificity of deverbatives-nouns in modern Ukrainian. The methods are of cognitive-onomasiological and componental analyses. The types of verbal nouns motivation of the modern Ukrainian language were investigated for the first time. Materials, methods, the results of the work can be employed in the process of the analysis of other nominative and grammatical words motivation of the Ukrainian language. The sphere of usage - in the process of compiling explanatory, word-formative, morphemic dictionaries, in special courses.The sphere of usage is higher school.
