Ischuk O. Psychological preparation of pregnant woman for the first childbirth.

In this thesis the phenomena of psychological readiness of pregnant woman to her first childbirth and future maternity is observed.A term "maternal identity" as a new psychological forming of a maternity sphere, that is not only a core but one of the main key aspect of forming personality identity of a woman, is highlighted in this work as far as the influence of individual and age peculiarities of the pregnant woman on her sense of pregnancy and on her psychological readiness to give birth to child: a special diagnostic was made to see if woman is ready for the childbirth.The program of psychological accompaniment of pregnancy, where one of the main task is to prepare woman to the childbirth and express-program of psychological readiness to the birth of child, is elaborated and approved. The result of the psychologist work in the preparation of women to his first childbirth are highly analyzed in this work.
