POUNEH M. The peculiarities of perception of M.V.Gogol's creative work in Iran.

The objects are Persian translations of M.V.Gogol's works and works of Iranian literary critics and historians of the Persian literature in the 20th century. The aim is to reveal the originality of perception of M.V.Gogol's creative work in Iran. The methods are comparative, descriptive, genetical, typological. Peculiarities of theoretical interpretation gave an opportunity to define the closeness of particular points of creation work of the writer to literary, aesthetical and ideological tastes of literature historians and public queries of their readers. The rejection of some elements of the writer's inheritance, his spiritual, religious and mystical strivings in particular, is of paramount importance. It is set that since 1990s Gogol's creative work has been studied within the context of the development of the short story genre which is widely practised in Iran. Gogol is believed to be the founder of this genre, the creator of the world's most skilful pattern of a short story. Application sphere isthe training courses.
